Catholic Charities of St. Louis Case Study

Sequest Technologies, Inc began its client partnership with Catholic Charities St. Louis in August of 1998. The development of a comprehensive electronic clinical record was the impetus for the TIER® software selection.

As a psychiatric treatment facility for children, Child Center of Our Lady has long recognized the need for accurate, timely and efficient medical record documentation. After struggling to maintain and improve our old “hard copy” medical record, Child Center decided to pursue an electronic record that could meet our needs and specifications. With the assistance of Catholic Charities of St. Louis, we have been using Sequest Technologies’ TIER medical record system since September 1999 and found that our problems with timely and efficient medical record documentation have improved at least 75%.

We’ve found the TIER system to be fully customizable, and relatively easy to maintain. Data output is easy and can be accomplished by using either of two universally accepted report writers (Crystal Reports or Microsoft Access).
