Sequest Adminsters Medication Reconciliation via Workflow Systems

Using computerized monitoring can reduce anywhere from 28% to 95% of adverse drug effects, the report says. In addition, up to 84% of dosage, frequency and route errors could be prevented through use of computerized physician order entry (CPOE) systems.

Sequest Technologies, Inc. a leader in the addiction treatment and behavioral health software has been effectively supporting and delivering computerized order entry systems since 2000.  The evolving needs of our markets related to medication management have led us to deliver a series of educational seminars and resources to assist you in this process.

Medication reconciliation is the process of creating a complete and accurate list of all medications a client is taking ( including key information such as drug name, dosage, frequency, and route) and comparing that list against the physician’s admission, transfer, and/or discharge orders. The primary goal of medication reconciliation is to provide correct medications to the client at all service or care delivery transition points during treatment.

Sequest Technologies founder, Lenoard J. Brink ACSW former Joint Commission surveyor and Associate Director of Behavioral Health, will be delivering relevant suggestions and practices to deliver relief to your Medication Reconciliation needs.
