Sequest has several long standing successful partnerships throughout the western United States and has recently taken some strategic measures to continue to build on those successful client partnerships.
We recently unveiled a collaborative project in which we delivered the LA County DMH required forms to our Sequest client partners. Several of our California clients; EMQ, Five Acres, Vista del Mar and Children’s International participated in work groups that led to the successful development of electronic versions of the critical DMH forms. Sequest would like to thank the participants and looks forward to continuing similar collaborative design to our providers in California. Sequest CEO mentioned, ” It makes good business sense to develop once and provide as base applications since we have such a need in LA County”.
Another major development is the establishment of a California Business Development office in San Diego. Geoff Fisher joined Sequest Technologies a few months ago and brings extensive experience in building successful client bases in health-care industries. The creation of western focused staff; Geoff the first of a few planned in western states, will position Sequest to support their continued growth within California, Arizona, Oregon and Seattle. The last few months have seen an additional 5 organizations join within two of those states. We are excited to see our successful installations yielding such positive word of mouth referrals-our client partnerships continue to be our greatest asset.
The past few months have allowed us extensive opportunity to meet with hundreds of conference attendees at California Institute for Mental Health (CIMH) in Los Angeles and National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP) in Palm Springs. CIMH also requested Sequest CEO, Bill Connors to deliver a workshop on the National Standards in Behavioral Health. The session was extremely successful and allowed Connors and Grady Wilkinson, CEO of Sacred Heart Rehabilitiation Center to update all on CCHITas well as state mandated data standards. Sequest then moved onto Palm Springs to gather with close to 500 addiction treatment professionals at NAATP’s Annual Leadership Conference. We released our 2K8 v5.5 of the TIER Workflow for Substance Abuse as well as demonstrated the extensive uses for bar code scanners to speed up processes and enhance patient safety.
The past two months have just begun our focus on growing the Sequest partnerships within our western region. It will continue to be a major initiative for Sequest and Geoff Fisher.
